A fresh, clean style of Chardonnay with minimal oak influence. Vibrant flavors of green apple, peach and lemon dominate followed by a firmly acidic finish that shows just a tiny kiss of vanilla. Very well balanced. The village of Rully contains 23 1er Cru vineyards each of which is ideal for Chardonnay. The Les Cloux vineyard sits on a hillside above the village with a southeast exposure. Soil is a mixture of clay and limestone.
